Our Healthy Living Labs focus on addressing health disparities and promoting health equity through clinical and community-engaged randomized controlled trials as well as dissemination and implementation research and related projects.

Research Focus:
Community-based nutrition and physical activity intervention research focused on understanding how people’s social, food and physical activity environments influence behavior change and maintenance—particularly in at-risk populations and settings.

Dr. Alexandra L. MacMillan Uribe
Research Focus:
Investigating effective community-focused strategies that address health equity by helping mothers and their children establish healthy dietary patterns.
