A micro-randomized trial utilizing real-time glucose monitoring and ecological momentary assessments to guide dietary intake behavior in adults at high risk of prediabetes.
Glucose variability may lead to greater risk of diabetes. Mindful eating can help improve dietary intake, which in turn may affect glucose variability. This research involves a 4-week intervention using a continuous glucose monitor as well as surveys and intervention messages delivered through a mobile app. 75 adult participants between the ages of 18 to 65 who are at high risk for prediabetes will be included in this study.
